Los premios Oscar 2024 han confirmado sus favoritos: ‘Oppenheimer’ ha recibido 13 nominaciones, seguida de ‘Pobres criaturas’ con 11 y ‘Los asesinos de la luna’ con 10 y ‘Barbie’ ha logrado ocho.
En tanto, la director chilena Maite Alberdi, competirá con su hermosa película de amor y compromiso “La Memoria Infinita” en los Premios Oscars 2024 en la categoría “Mejor Documental”. “No me lo esperaba. Realmente fue una sorpresa, en un año muy competitivo. La verdad es que estar nominados es un premio gigante”,”, comentó desde Utha, Estados Unidos.
Además Chile llega a Hollywood con dos filmes en competición. El Conde de Pablo Larraín (comedia negra sobre del dictador Pinochet) logró una nominación en la categoría de Mejor Fotografía, gracias al trabajo de Edward Lachman.
Por su parte, la película española ‘La sociedad de la nieve’ de Juan Antonio Bayona, que narra la lucha de los supervivientes de la tragedia aérea de Los Andes, ha sido nominada por mejor diseño de maquillaje y peluquería, y mejor película internacional o habla no inglesa.
A esto se suma que ‘Robot dreams’, de Pablo Berger, será candidata a mejor filme de animación.
Las nominaciones a la 96 edición de los premios de la Academia serán entregados el próximo 10 de marzo.
